Custom Pool House & Outdoor Living Space

This backyard pool house project involved a complete transformation of the outdoor living area, combining pool installation, structural work, custom timber framing, and carefully finished outdoor details.

The project included the assembly and installation of a prefab pool kit, along with the construction of a suspended slab and equipment room below. This created a functional foundation for the pool area while keeping the mechanical components organized and accessible.

From there, we built a custom pool house from the ground up, including an in-house timber frame that brings warmth, structure, and craftsmanship to the space. The exposed wood details help connect the building to the surrounding outdoor environment while giving the pool area a strong architectural presence.

As part of the finished outdoor space, we also installed a custom outdoor shower using exotic hardwood, adding both function and character. Inside the pool house, hydronic in-floor heating helps make the space comfortable and usable throughout the year.

This project is a strong example of the custom outdoor living work we enjoy: practical, detailed, thoughtfully built, and designed to create a space that can be used and enjoyed for years to come.
